Scissors Cut

Probably no other image in the World RPS Society archive has left as many viewers disturbed as this particular execution. The hyperbolic realistic nature was a cruel and graphic display of punishment to the losing paper player that conflicted directly with the ‘conflict resolution’ characteristics of RPS.

Ultimately, it was felt that this execution drove more potential players away from the sport rather than attracting them from fear of losing limbs.
