Traffic Comparison

Granted, we at the Think Three Blog might be the only ones that care about the following graph, but nevertheless we thought it worth sharing as proof of the triumph of content vs. crappola.

worldrps.com vs. usarps.com

In a nutshell, it shows that just how dismal the web traffic has been to the megabuck beer company backed USARPS website when compared to worldrps.com (note: January to March is our offseason). So congratulations Big Beer Company for backing a group that not only doesn’t know how to run proper tournaments,  but convinced you that using their "girls of RPS"  "Has-been playboy model viral campaign" would be a sure-fire traffic generator.

Piece of advice USARPS, if the centrepiece of your marketing plan is based upon using 1980’s style promotional tactics to generate interest, when you plant that story on Digg.com try to at least come up better headlines than New RPS league gets some hot girls on board!  At last count, the article got a whopping total of 5 ‘diggs’. To put this in perspective here are some more Digg.com articles that generated (at last count) the same number:

Scientists identify two new forms of ice

Kleenex confused over countries and continents

How to be the Best Wingman You Can Be

Lego Lie Detector
