Yet again more issues

As the Worldwide governing body of the sport of RPS, we at the World RPS Society are obviously concerned when it appears that the USARPS continues to show a complete disregard for the player experience. We received another field report from "The Saint" claiming more irregularities at USARPS events that seems to raise even deeper concerns. Specifically, it raises the following questions:

– Why is the USARPS allowing bar staff to compete in what is supposed to be a consumer promotion?

– Why are they denying a legitimate winner the chance to go to Vegas and compete for $50,000 and why do they think that  substituting it with a trip to Puerto Rico is fair?

My good friend Josh, at my suggestion came to a USARPS tournament with me that was hosted by the USARPS and Anheuser-Bush. He was slated into the 14 person bracket, and valiantly fought his way to victory in the finals, which was against an employee of the bar that was hosting the event. I don’t think that employees of the bar hosting the event should be allowed to participate. In the chance they had won, there would have been some serious issues I would have had to deal with, but as it turns out, the issues I now have to deal with are even greater.

Josh went on to victory, and he was to participate in the regional tournament that was to be held at the same bar for a spot in Vegas event. He was told he would be informed of the proper date of the regional tournament since the rep was unsure of when it was scheduled. After several weeks with no word, we began leaving messages on the Rep’s answering machine and without surprise, we did not hear back from anyone after repeated attempts. However, this evening while I was with Josh he stated that he had heard from a Bud Rep and that  he was informed that he was entered into the regional tournament that was taking place in Hoboken, NJ. This is not the original region he had been participating in. The tournament he was now entered in was to win a trip to Puerto Rico. and he was “no longer eligible for the trip to Las Vegas”

Where did Puerto Rico come from? What happened to the regional tournament he was supposed to participate in for a chance to go to Las Vegas? I know that I am not happy with everything (anything) I’ve seen thus far, and I know that Josh is even more furious with this disgusting display.
